If the area we repaired settles because of how we built it, we come back and put it right. No argument, no charge.
Why we can offer it
Because we control the part that fails.
Paving fails from underneath. The sub-base, the compaction, the falls and the edge restraints are the things that decide whether a patio is still flat in five years, and they are the things we do ourselves rather than subcontract. That is why the guarantee runs for five years and not twelve months.
What it covers
- Settlement of the area we repaired or built — the ground giving way under our work
- Sub-base failure where we laid the sub-base
- Paving we relaid working loose because of how it was bedded
- Edgings we installed tipping or coming away because of how they were haunched
- Falls we set failing to shed water as they should
What it does not cover
- Misuse, or loads the surface was never built for — a vehicle parked on a patio, for example
- Ground movement caused by drains, tree roots or water ingress from elsewhere
- Work carried out, altered or dug up by anyone else after we finish
- Areas we advised should be rebuilt where you asked us to repair instead — we will put that in writing at the time
- Normal weathering, efflorescence, moss or colour variation in the paving itself
- Pointing and jointing sand, which are maintenance items and wash out over time

Keep your invoice — it is your proof of the date and the work. We keep our own record of every job for the same reason.
Your statutory rights
This guarantee is given in addition to your legal rights and does not replace them. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 our work must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time and for a reasonable price, whatever any guarantee says. Nothing on this page limits that.
